Other effects of SCAM
Previous example has shown the ‘single table’ effect of SCAM
There are also problems when comparing:
(a) flows between tables at one scale
(b) flows between tables at different spatial scales
because SCAM is applied independently to each table at each level
Notes:
The previous effect gives an indication of the ‘single table’ effect of SCAM but SCAM also creates problems when we want to compare (i) flows between tables and (ii) flows between spatial scales.
