The size of the interaction data is extended partly because of the flows produced at Output Area level (223,000 OAs) in the UK.
Initially, we were expecting the data to be for a consistent set of ST wards. However, unfortunately, the data at level 2 has been produced for ST wards in Scotland and for CAS wards elsewhere, so CIDS refers to these areas as ‘interaction’ wards’.
